Uninet Compact Toner-Based Press Helps Businesses Produce Short- to Mid-Run Full-Color and White Labels Without Minimum Orders, Plates, or Excess Inventory
YAPHANK | NY – November 2026 – UNINET® announces the IColor® 400 LED Toner-Based Digital Label Press, a compact production system designed for label providers and brand owners seeking greater control over short- to mid-run label production.
On-Demand In-House Label Creation
The IColor® 400 allows businesses to print labels in-house as needed, helping reduce outsourcing delays, setup charges, large minimum orders, and excess preprinted inventory. Users can quickly update artwork, personalize labels, produce prototypes, and respond to changing customer or production requirements.
Five-Station Single-Pass Printing
Featuring a five-station CMYKW toner configuration, the IColor® 400 prints full color and white in a single pass. White Underprint® and spot-white capabilities enable vibrant designs and crisp white text on clear, dark, colored, and metallic label stocks.
“The IColor® 400 gives businesses the flexibility to produce the labels they need, when they need them,” said Joe Dovi at UNINET®. “It helps users shorten turnaround times, reduce inventory waste, and expand their in-house label capabilities.”
High-Speed Desktop Performance and Media Flexibility
The desktop press features a 5.12-inch print width, integrated rewinder, auto-registration, and roll-to-roll or roll-to-cut production. It prints at speeds of up to 30 feet per minute and can produce up to 2,000 labels in approximately 20 minutes, depending on label size and stock.
Its toner-based technology eliminates the routine maintenance associated with liquid-ink systems. Files can be printed directly from standard graphics programs without specialized RIP software.
The IColor® 400 supports a wide selection of media, including clear, white, colored, and dark stocks; PET, vinyl, BOPP, synthetic, metallic, glossy, matte, and texture materials. Applications include labels for food and beverages, cosmetics, private-label products, chemicals, and other consumer or industrial goods.
Regulatory Compliance and Finishing Integration
When used with approved GHS-certified media, the press can also produce GHS BS5609-compliant chemical and drum labels.
For custom finishing, the IColor® 400 can be paired with the optional UNINET® LF200 Digital Label Finishing System for laminating, die cutting, matrix removal, slitting, and final rewinding.
