Inkcups to Showcase Award-Winning Direct-to-Object Printing Technology at PRINTING United 2024

by Staff

DANVERS | Massachusetts – August 2024: Global printing industry leader Inkcups will showcase an extensive array of direct-to-object digital and pad printing technologies at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada from September 10-12, 2024. Highlights include the XJET Switch direct-to-bag printer and the cylindrical inkjet printers, the Double Helix® and Helix® ONE, all of which have received PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Awards this year. Inkcups will be located in Central Hall, booth C2749.

PRINTING United 2024 marks the global debut of Inkcups’ award-winning, patent pending, Nano Pin Curing technology that enables printing on transparent cylindrical vessels such as Tritan containers, wine and spirit bottles, candle holders, and assorted glassware without the need to fill the vessel with a UV-blocking substance.

Matthew Medford, Vice President of Engineering, Inkcups, states: “Inkcups strives to continually innovate and push boundaries with our technology and we love being able to showcase that to the wider industry. With growing interest from the packaging world in our direct-to-object inkjet printing technology, we anticipate a lot of interest surrounding Nano Pin Curing technology on the Helix® line.”

Inkcups will be partnering with Antigro Designer to offer Inkcups booth visitors the chance to use Antigro Designer Print Customizer cloud-based personalization technology. Visitors will each be able to customize artwork for a tumbler, preview a 3D rendering, and then have it printed by the Inkcups’ Helix® ONE compact cylindrical direct-to-object UV inkjet printer on demand.

Benjamin Adner, Chief Innovation Officer and Founder, Inkcups, comments: “Personalization and print-on-demand are real areas of opportunity for so much of the industry, it will be great to demonstrate those possibilities. Earlier this year, we demonstrated a similar print-on-demand workflow at FESPA Amsterdam, receiving exceptionally positive feedback, and expect the same response stateside.”

The full portfolio of technology that Inkcups will be demonstrating on its booth includes:
