Mimaki USA will debut the JFX220-2515 UV Printer at Printing United 2026
SUWANEE | Georgia – September 2026 – Mimaki USA, has announced the release of the JFX220-2515, a new mid-range large-format flatbed UV printer designed to advance productivity and expressive capabilities. The new printer will make its world debut at the PRINTING United Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning September 23.
ANCHOR TECHNOLOGY Streamlines Print Preparation
The JFX220-2515 features newly developed ANCHOR TECHNOLOGY, a substrate suction and holding mechanism designed to eliminate traditional table masking work. By efficiently suctioning and securing only the area where the substrate is placed, the system significantly reduces pre-print preparation time. The technology also holds warped substrates, such as corrugated cardboard and acrylic sheets, securely inplace for stable printing.
Enhanced Expressive Capabilities with UV Fluorescent Inks
To boost print expressiveness beyond standard CMYK output, the JFX220-2515 supports new UV fluorescent yellow and pink inks. These inks enable vivid color reproduction for eye-catching graphics, event signage, in-store POP displays, and promotional fixtures that require precise brand matching and high visibility.

High-Speed CMYK Production
Building on the image quality of previous JFX series models, the JFX220-2515 delivers high-speed printing up to 602.7 ft²/h (approximately 17 4×8-size boards per hour) when configured with a standard CMYK-only ink set. This setup provides roughly double the production speed of configurations containing white and clear inks, supporting short turnaround times and high-volume orders without compromising uniform color density.
Expanded Application Range and Substrate Versatility
The JFX220-2515 incorporates several features designed to accommodate diverse media types, geometries, and textured finishes:
Thick Substrate Support: Prints directly onto materials up to 4 inches (101.6 mm) thick, extending capabilities beyond standard boards and panels to building materials and finished products.
LD (Long-Distance) Mode: Enables high-quality printing on curved or uneven three-dimensional surfaces with a drop distance of up to 0.79 inches (20 mm) from the printhead to the substrate surface.
3D Relief Texturing: Supports ink build-up of up to 5 mm, allowing operators to create tactile, high-value textured graphics and signs.

Global Availability
The JFX220-2515 is scheduled to go on sale globally in October 2026 following its initial debut at PRINTING United Expo.
