Mutoh America Announces Upgraded UV-LED Desktop System Delivers Doubled Print Speeds, Enhanced AccuFine HD Pro Head Technology, and Advanced Braille Capabilities
PHOENIX | AZ – October 2026 – MUTOH America, Inc. announces the launch of the XpertJet 661UF Pro, now available across the Americas. The XpertJet 661UF has earned a strong reputation among print professionals for its reliability and compact 19″x 24″ footprint, and the Pro builds on that foundation with upgrades that directly improve day-to-day production: faster output, sharper results, and simplified maintenance.
AccuFine HD Pro Technology and Vibration-Dampened Chassis
The Pro introduces the AccuFine HD Pro print head, which produces noticeably cleaner, finer detail work compared to the previous model. A redesigned all-metal chassis reduces vibration during printing, which contributes to that improvement in consistency. Print speeds are up to 2 times faster than the XpertJet 661UF, allowing jobs to turn around in significantly less time. For shops producing braille signage, printing speed has also increased with better dot accuracy on raised characters using the same UH21 ink.
“The XpertJet 661UF has been one of our most popular printers for good reason, and the Pro takes everything customers already love about it and makes it better – faster speeds, finer output, and the same approachable footprint. This is the kind of update that makes a real difference on the shop floor,” said Brian Phipps, President of MUTOH America, Inc.
Versatile Substrate Compatibility and Expanded Applications
The XpertJet 661UF Pro handles the same wide range of applications that made the original model popular, including custom merchandise, personalized gifts, ADA-compliant braille signage, industrial components, and short-run production work. The larger bed size accommodates yard signs, combined with extensive media versatility across acrylic, wood, leather, metal, glass, and a broad range of rigid specialty materials. An optional rotary attachment adds the ability to print directly on cylindrical items.
