VICENZA | Italy – February 2024 – Monti Antonio recently introduced its Pigment Calendar C03RP-1800 to take advantage of Coldenhove’s special digital transfer paper for printing pigment inks onto a wide range of natural fabric fiber textiles. The CO3RP was designed specifically for this application and utilizes an actual transfer as opposed to normal sublimation.
The C03RP-1800 boasts an array of features designed to enhance efficiency and quality across various printing methods, including transfer printing, direct inks reactivation, sublimation printing with customizable options, and thermosetting with a unique “crush” effect.
Key characteristics of the heating cylinder include:
Diameter: 350 mm (13.78 inches)
Width: 1,800 mm (70.87 inches)
Working Width: 1,630 mm (64.17 inches)
The The heating system and temperature control mechanism ensure optimal performance and safety:
- Heated by a single resistor in a vacuum-sealed oil bath, eliminating air and pressure
- Temperature regulation via touch screen and electronic thermostat with temperature alarm and maximum temperature limitation (230°C)
Tension control mechanisms for printing materials, paper, and protection paper include:
- Axial unwinding with disk brake and pneumatic adjustment
- Double roll tangential winding with soft or hard winding options
- Independent motor-driven axial winding with touch-screen adjustment
Additional features of the Calendar Adapt system:
- Independent motors with electronic synchronization
- NOMEX felt with pneumatic tension adjustment and motorized electric linear actuator for centering
- Built-in protection system for felt in case of blackout or compressed air loss
- Meter-counter with alarm for production length monitoring
- Machine management through adjustable PLC for production data storage and recall
- Front touch-screen keyboard for easy access and programming
The Monti Antonio C03RP-1800 is available through CalComp Graphics Solutions in the U.S.
