Media One launches a fully integrated 5-meter textile printer with a built-in heat calender for inline fixation
GARDEN GROVE | California – November 2026 – Media One has launched the ATP Color OneTex 5200 in North America. ATP Color says it is the only 5-meter textile printer with a true heat calender, printing directly onto fabric with inline fixation. The company also says the OneTex 5200 is the first and only textile printer tested under ISO 20690:2018 energy efficiency requirements.
Inline Fixation
Offline fixation at 5 meters adds work at every step. Operators must load and unload 5-meter materials on both the printer and the calender, along with 5-meter protective tissue paper, in a two-step process. Inline fixation removes the second step, so a finished job can come off the press as soon as it prints. This supports the fast turnaround many print shops now face.
Media Width Flexibility
Many shops gang multiple images onto a 5-meter roll and cut them after printing. The OneTex 5200 can print on two rolls of different widths at once, such as a 1-meter roll next to a 2.6-meter roll. This keeps the full system productive when a job does not need 5-meter output.
Media Loading
Media loading can be costly on grand-format inline textile systems. The OneTex 5200 has an integrated ultrasonic automatic sewing system that attaches new rolls, so the system does not need to be fully rewebbed at each roll change. This reduces waste.
Fabric Tension Adjustments
Fabrics behave differently from paper or vinyl, and different fabrics can perform very differently when printed direct. The OneTex 5200 offers several ways to adjust fabric tension for consistent, reliable printing across woven backlit, knit poplin, soft-knit, heavy-knit and other fabrics.
Patented Inline Calender
A patented heating drum is integrated into the printer. ATP Color says it is the first of its kind, designed for consistent, repeatable fixation print after print.
Operator-Friendly Design
The system is designed for operators, with simple maintenance procedures and easy-access panels for electronic maintenance.
