TOKYO | Japan – March 2026 - Seiko Epson Corporation (“Epson”) today announced the upcoming launch of the new T3200-U3-2 printhead, the latest addition to its PrecisionCore series, with market availability scheduled for early April 2026. The new model is engineered to address growing demand across the commercial and industrial digital printing sectors.
The T3200-U3-2 introduces a newly enhanced structural design that supports ink heating up to 50°C—higher than its predecessor, the T3200-U3—enabling stable ink ejection with a broader range of higher-viscosity UV inks. This advancement delivers improved reliability, durability, and application flexibility for OEM partners and system integrators serving signage and industrial markets.
Expanded Capability for Evolving Market Demands
As digital printing adoption accelerates in commercial and industrial segments, customer requirements continue to diversify across materials, inks, and end-use applications.
Since its introduction in July 2021, the T3200-U3 has achieved widespread adoption, particularly in signage printers. The new T3200-U3-2 retains the core performance characteristics of its predecessor while adding expanded ink heating capability, enabling consistent ejection of higher-viscosity UV inks and broader media compatibility.
Importantly, the T3200-U3-2 maintains identical external dimensions, electronic interface specifications, and ejection performance parameters as the previous model, allowing seamless integration and straightforward replacement within existing printer platforms.
