BOGOTÁ | Colombia – June 2025 — Epson, the global technology leader, showcased its latest large-format printing innovations at Andigráfica 2025, Latin America’s most important event for the print and graphic communications industry. Among the highlights were the debut of the SureColor G-6070 DTF printer for textile applications and the newly updated SureColor S-9170, designed for signage and advertising production.

Held at Corferias from June 17–20, Andigráfica served as a critical platform for the region’s industry professionals, manufacturers, and distributors to experience next-generation print technologies that are redefining the future of the sector.

Despite broader economic challenges, Colombia’s graphic industry demonstrated notable resilience in 2024. According to figures from Andigraf, while the country’s overall manufacturing sector contracted by 2.1%, the graphic industry grew by 0.8%, contributing 5.2% to the national industrial GDP. The sector produced close to $5.8 trillion COP and supported over 280,000 direct jobs, highlighting its adaptability and importance to the national economy.

At Epson, we were committed to helping Colombia’s graphic arts sector reach the next level of technology — always with sustainability at the forefront,” said Juanita Agudelo, Marketing and Sales Manager for Industrial Solutions at Epson Colombia. “Our offerings at Andigráfica 2025 showed that it’s possible to combine maximum productivity with environmentally responsible practices — a priority increasingly in demand across the Colombian market.”

Sustainable Technology and Smarter Workflows

Epson’s booth featured energy-efficient, compact printing systems and eco-friendly water-based inks that supported the company’s global goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The new equipment lineup reduced waste by up to 30% and was designed for long-term durability, reinforcing Epson’s commitment to sustainable innovation.

Le SureColor G-6070 and updated SureColor S-9170 printers both included Epson’s PORT technology, a remote production and consumption management system. According to internal testing, PORT enabled up to 40% faster operation by optimizing workflows in real time.

Innovation for Personalization and Quality

Epson also spotlighted advancements in personalization, a major trend shaping the graphic and textile sectors. Visitors experienced Epson’s extended color gamuts and precision technologies designed to deliver professional finishes on a variety of substrates.

Through its participation at Andigráfica 2025, Epson reinforced its leadership in technological innovation and demonstrated how the print industry can evolve toward more efficient, sustainable business models while continuing to deliver the high-quality output today’s markets demand.
