Five separate processes ensure accurate feeding, separation, and placement: an adjustable suction arm, automatic air blade to prevent curl, lowering sheet feeder, separation fingers, and jogging to relieve static cling.
Patented Rear Scanning System
The FB9550 Pro-T reads registration marks from either side of the sheet, enabling accurate cutting even when media is printed on one side and placed face down — critical for fluted board, where the crease must fold toward the depression without requiring double-sided printing.
Powerful, Flexible Five-Tool Operation
The 5-tool head uses a 2+2+1 configuration of tangential and passive tools, enabling up to three simultaneous operations — such as cutting, perforating, and creasing. It handles everything from high-volume label production to N, G, F, and E fluted board up to 3mm thick. Tangential technology lifts, rotates, and replaces the tool on the media for a smoother, more defined crease, especially on thicker stock.
New AI Control for Ultimate Optimisation
Powered by ColorCut’s next-generation AI platform, operators can fine-tune belt speed, acceleration, page separation, gravity restack, and more. Two cutting modes support full workflow flexibility: DIRECT mode for real-time creation and control from a PC, and HELD mode, which stores job files on a USB drive for direct access from the touchscreen — no PC required. In both modes, the cutter reads the QR code, retrieves the correct cut file, and cuts and creases with precision, even if the sheet is loaded in the wrong orientation.
