ColDesi’s Automated Film Peel and Dual Presses Speed Up DTF Finishing

CLEARWATER | Florida – August 2026 – ColDesi has introduced the AP360, a fully integrated 6-station carousel production system built for high-volume apparel decorators, contract printers, fulfillment companies, and growing DTF businesses. The AP360 automates the most labor-intensive stages of heat transfer application, reaching production speeds of 350+ shirts per hour while cutting bottlenecks and reducing labor costs.

Why Growing DTF Shops Need an Automatic Heat Press

For most decorators, the bottleneck isn’t printing transfers — it’s applying them. Manual presses require operators to load garments, position transfers, press, peel film, finish-press, and unload by hand, with labor costs climbing right alongside order volume. The AP360 turns that process into a continuous, automated workflow.

Production Advantages

  • 350+ shirts per hour production capacity
  • Automated film peel system
  • Dual industrial heat press stations
  • Continuous carousel workflow
  • Automatic, semi-automatic, and manual operating modes
  • PLC touchscreen control system
  • Fast 5-second press cycles
  • CE certified industrial equipment
  • 2-year warranty
  • On-site installation and training included

Six-Station Workflow

  1. Load — Garments are loaded and positioned on the platen.
  2. Transfer Placement — Transfers are aligned for precise registration.
  3. Primary Press — First pneumatic press applies heat, pressure, and dwell time.
  4. Automated Film Peel — Carrier film is removed automatically.
  5. Final Press — Secondary finishing press improves adhesion and durability.
  6. Unload — Finished garments are removed for packaging or fulfillment.

Unlike start-and-stop manual presses, the AP360 keeps garments moving continuously through every stage, supporting output above 350 garments per hour with consistent transfer quality.

Built to Reduce Labor Costs

Staffing remains one of the biggest challenges for apparel decorators. By automating critical steps, the AP360 lets fewer operators manage significantly more output — cutting payroll costs, easing training, and improving consistency. For fulfillment operations and contract decorators, the labor savings can generate a fast return on investment.

Industrial-Grade Construction

  • Dual 16″ x 20″ industrial pneumatic heat presses with cast aluminum plates for even heat distribution, plus a built-in post-peel finishing press
  • Adjustable pneumatic pressure and press speed controls
  • PLC touchscreen interface with automatic, semi-automatic, and manual modes, plus digital temperature controls
  • Industrial steel framework, foot pedal activation, and CE certification for continuous production floor use
