Caldera DTF RIP to be Featured in WIN REPORT: DTF Edition Magazine

Caldera has built a Direct-to-Film RIP software aimed at making DTF printing simpler for shops of every size. The interface strips DTF workflows down to the features that matter — no clutter, no steep learning curve — so beginners and seasoned print shops alike can produce vivid, accurate colors without wrestling with complicated settings. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and supports major file formats including BMP, PSB, PSD, PNG, TIFF, PDF, AI, and JPEG, giving shops flexibility no matter their existing setup.

The software automates the tasks that eat up production time. Smart white ink generation builds the underbase automatically, cutting manual file prep. Spot colors are detected and simulated on the fly, with manual fine-tuning available when shops need precise brand matching. A white and color knockout tool speeds up last-minute adjustments, softening prints without extra steps. Built-in guides and educational content walk users through onboarding directly inside the software — no outside technical support required.

Caldera Direct-to-Film connects with the DTF printers shops already run, including Epson, Roland, and Mimaki devices, along with DTF printers built on Hosonsoft, BYHX, and Royal motherboards. CalderaDock adds downloadable, expert-built presets tuned for specific DTF applications, so shops can skip repetitive setup and get straight to printing.

Every plan includes the CalderaRIP engine, Adobe PDF Print Engine, custom ink and spot color support, white management tools, custom ink set management, and one DTF printer driver. Pricing scales with production volume and workflow needs, with plans starting at 395 Euro per year.
