by Staff

BRIDGEWATER | New Jersey – May 2024 – Brother International Corporation, a leading innovator in home and business technologies, has announced a significant advancement in garment decoration with the introduction of Direct-to-Embroidery (DTE) capabilities for its GTXpro series printers.

This groundbreaking technology seamlessly integrates embroidery with digital printing, offering a powerful on-demand solution for garment decorators.

Streamlined Workflow, Enhanced Designs

The Brother DTE system empowers creators with a streamlined workflow. Embroiderers can first create their designs using white polyester thread, followed by a wash-resistance pretreatment. The fabric is then transferred to the Brother GTXpro DTG printer. Using a high-resolution camera, the DTE system precisely aligns the embroidery with the remaining artwork for a flawless final product.

Brother’s DTE technology unlocks a new level of design possibilities. Vibrant colors and intricate details can be added directly to embroidered elements, creating truly unique and high-quality garments.
