FLOWERY BRANCH | Georgia — April 2026 — Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. announces the launch of the UJV200-160 and UJV200-130 UV-LED printers, expanding its 200 Series of large-format systems with enhanced expressive capabilities and ease of use for sign graphics production.
Building on the success of the 200 Series—introduced in 2024 with a focus on high image quality and user-friendly operation—the new UJV200 models extend these benefits into UV printing. The platform enables printing on a wide range of substrates, while instant UV curing allows for immediate post-processing and installation, streamlining production workflows from print to finish.
The UJV200 incorporates a single high-density, high-resolution printhead based on Mimaki’s advanced “330 Engine,” delivering precise ink control for smooth gradients, minimal grain, and consistent solid fills without banding. The system is engineered to produce highly detailed images, from lifelike portrait graphics to sharp fine lines and small text, making it well-suited for applications such as large-format advertising and high-visibility informational signage.
To further improve usability and efficiency, Mimaki has enhanced its automatic image quality adjustment functionality. The system reduces both adjustment time and media usage by more than 50% compared to previous models, while enabling automatic calibration across a wide range of media types—including colored and transparent substrates—without reliance on operator expertise.
The UJV200 series will be available in two configurations to meet varying production needs: the UJV200-160 with a maximum print width of 1,610 mm (63.4 inches) and the UJV200-130 with a maximum print width of 1,360 mm (54.5 inches). Sales begin in April 2026, with Mimaki targeting annual global sales of 1,000 units.
The UJV200 will make its world debut at the International Sign Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida, beginning April 8, and will also be showcased at select global exhibitions and customer events.
