We are excited to highlight the WIN Top 10 Exhibitors you should visit at the upcoming Printing United Show in Las Vegas, kicking off next Tuesday. These recommendations are based on what’s been catching the attention of our readers, so you definitely won’t want to miss them!
Just to give you some context, the Printing United Show is one of the top events for digital imaging pros from all over the globe. You might be wondering how it stacks up against other major graphics and printing shows worldwide.
Well, the biggest of them all is drupa, held every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany, drawing in a massive crowd—about 250,000 attendees this year! Then, there’s the Shanghai Printing Show, which pulls in around 90,000 visitors annually.
Next up, we have Printing United, which had about 28,000 attendees and more than 800 exhibitors in Atlanta last year. So, as you can imagine, Printing United plays a crucial role in the digital imaging industry and is definitely an event you don’t want to miss!
Let’s dive into the WIN Top Ten List of exhibitors at Printing United 2024 that will include a brief mention of what the companies are showing plus the booth number:
- Cutworx USA (Booth C946): They are showing for the first time in the Americas a unique XY cutter for the DTF market manufactured by Neolt in Italy. DTF is a hot market and lots of focus in this area. Additionally, Cutworx USA is known for distributing industrial advanced cutting systems.
- Durst Group / Vanguard – (C1543) The Italian based Durst Group along with Vanguard, an American company it recently purchased, won an amazing thirteen Printing United Pinnacle Awards, literally half of the output awards presented. Many of these unique printers will be on display at the show.
- Epson (Booth SL8101): Epson is expected to display their latest eco-solvent and dye-sublimation printers, designed for large-format and textile printing. Epson will have several new products are under NDA and will not be announced until the opening day of Printing United. One unit that was released yesterday is a new tabletop letter-sized UV printer at $8,495 that is for the Soho and home market.
- Inkcups (Booth C2749): Inkcups is a unique provider of mostly UV printers and is showcasing their award winning cylindrical and flatbed UV printers. Inkcups is unique in that they offer more cylindrical printers for bottles and glassware than other UV printer manufacturers. Inkcups is also announcing other new technology.
- Mimaki: (Booth C1737): Mimaki surprised everyone with an announcement of three major new lines. Mimaki’s DTF family is expanding with a new 63-inch Direct-to-film DTF printer, three new CJV200 print and cut devices in 35-inch, 54-inch, 64-inch sizes and finally a huge 3.2 meter, more then 10 feet wide, production combination hybrid dye sub and direct-to-fabric printer makes its worldwide debut.
- Mutoh (Booth SL8053): Mutoh made a major announcement with the launch of their new 24-inch cut and print eco device, the XpertJet C641SR Pro. Roland and Mimaki have had this market to themselves for years so this new entrant into the market, especially at 24-inch certainly warrants review.
- Prism Inks (Booth SL10178): Prism is introducing its new FUZION ink, an innovative ink seamlessly images either direct-to-film or sublimation printing all a user has to do is switch between dye sub paper or dtf transfer film. Prism’s FUZION ink has the potential to dramatically change the need for multiple printers and combine into one printer for both DTF and dye sub printing.
- Roland (Booth SL10088): Roland has a number of new products to be exhibited including the EU-1000MF, VersaOBJECT UV flatbeds, VersaSTUDIO desktop devices along with their very popular BN2 series printer/cutters and TruVIS printer models. Roland is doing live demos where a user can upload an image from their smartphone, and have it printed out as a sticker on a BN2 using “Sticker Builder” software from Antigro Designer.
- Ricoh DTG (Booth C2161): Ricoh will present the Ri 4000, a direct-to-garment (DTG) printer that streamlines textile printing with built-in pretreatment. The pretreatment capability is automatic and eliminates the need for manual pretreatment.
- Siser North America (Booth SL8040): Siser will unveil PureHT, the world’s first sustainable heat transfer material. Siser spent over five years developing this biodegradable material with an Italian university. Traditional vinyl manufacturing is toxic and damages the environment.
