MAGICLINE’s patent-pending system enables vibrant transfers for white, light and dark garments without white ink, printer conversion or specialized DTF equipment
COVINA | California – August 2026 – The launch represents the next stage in the development of the MagicLine™ platform. The original MagicLine™ HTF system uses MagicInk™, the company’s patented, clog-free textile printing ink, to create weedless single-color transfers and foil effects using compatible desktop inkjet printers. MagicInk™ can be paired with colored MagicPowder™ for monochrome designs or MagicFoil™ for metallic, holographic, and specialty finishes.
MagicInk™ was recognized with the 2026 PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Award in the Textile Digital Inks category.
The new full-color process expands the MagicLine™ platform beyond single-color and foil applications. For this workflow, MagicInk™ is not required. Users print with the compatible printer’s standard pigment-based CMYK inks and rely on the proprietary combination of MagicLine™ Desktop Transfer Sheets, MagicPowder™, and MagicSeal™ Fusion to create the finished transfer.
The result is one broader desktop platform capable of supporting:
- Vibrant full-color graphics
- Photographic and illustrated designs
- Weedless monochrome transfers
- Metallic and holographic foil
- Specialty effects
- White, light, and dark garment decoration
Professional Results at an Accessible Entry Cost
A full starter package with a compatible printer and consumables for more than 100 shirts is expected to retail for under $500.
The consumables-only starter kit, which is under $100, includes:
- 100 MagicLine™ Desktop Transfer Sheets
- MagicPowder™ for the selected garment-color workflow
- MagicSeal™ Fusion solution and application materials
- Quick-start production instructions
After the starter consumables are used, each component can be replenished individually. Typical ongoing consumable costs are expected to remain below $1 per shirt; actual cost and yield will vary according to artwork size, ink coverage, setup prints, and production technique.
By comparison, traditional DTF systems may require substantially greater equipment investment, dedicated inks, white-ink circulation hardware, and ongoing maintenance.
Expanding Access to Garment Decoration
The system is designed for:
- Startups and home-based apparel businesses
- Existing owners of compatible pigment inkjet printers
- Print-on-demand and online merchandise sellers
- Schools, makerspaces, and creative studios
- Promotional-product businesses
- HTV users seeking full-color, weedless production
- DTF shops seeking a lower-maintenance complementary workflow
- Established decorators producing short runs and personalized orders
“The objective is to remove the technical and financial barriers that have kept many businesses from producing durable, full-color garment transfers,” Constantinou added. “A user can begin with an affordable desktop printer, print with its normal pigment inks, and produce transfers with wash performance approaching conventional DTF quality. That fundamentally changes who can enter this market.”
