CLERMONT | Florida – February 2025 – MADE Lab, in collaboration with ROQ.US, announces the transformation of their signature WB|WEEK event, bringing together industry leaders for an exceptional learning experience in water-based screen printing from February 27 – March 1, 2025. This year’s program features a strategic location change to ROQ.US headquarters in Clermont, Florida, with special sessions at Real Thread’s facility in Orlando.
MADE Lab Founders Brett Bowden, Tom Davenport, Brian Lessard, and Ryan Moor
“Changing up WB|WEEK to a new location and new time of year opens the door for more print shops to learn and increase their water-based screen-printing skills,” explains Ryan Moor, cofounder of MADE Lab. “We are passionate about helping more shops learn the benefits of traditional water-based, discharge, and HSA inks because of the premium quality and retail finish they provide apparel.”
The event begins with WB|Basics on February 27, featuring expert instruction from Avient’s Ray Smith and John MaGee (@traveling_screenprinter), alongside Saati’s screen-making specialist Dave Makin. This foundational day focuses on essential techniques and best practices.
The advanced WB|Camp follows on February 28-29, highlighted by an exclusive partnership with Real Thread, recent recipient of the Shop to Watch award. Participants will experience a comprehensive program including:
– High-color-count HSA printing demonstrations at Real Thread’s Orlando facility
– Advanced discharge and hybrid printing techniques
– Behind-the-scenes facility tour with Real Thread COO Luke Wycuff
– Expert sessions led by B-Unlimited’s Nathan Foster and Ben Stawn showcasing innovative approaches to retail and licensed apparel printing
The collaboration between the companies aims to demonstrate how water-based printing can help shops differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
