Vastex Releases Two New DTF Conveyor Dryers

by Staff

BETHLEHEM | Pennsylvania – March 2025 – Vastex has debuted two new DTF-capable conveyor dryers that aim to protect shop personnel from ethylene glycol, a toxic synthetic fluid emitted by DTF adhesives as a vapor during the curing process. The two new models, both with 24 inch (61 cm) wide, variable speed conveyor belts, offer Two models are of 24 inch (61 cm) wide with variable speed conveyor belts—the models are ERVP-III-24 with 10,800 watts, and model ERVP-VI-24 with 15,600 watts for higher belt speeds (capacity). Model ERVP-III-24 is engineered specifically for DTF curing, in which adhesives off-gas large volumes of glycol, the new dryers draw filtered makeup air through the top-center of the heating chamber, and through its double-wall top and sides.

With its preheated make-up air flows into the heat chamber, ERVP-III-24 replaces the exhausted air being drawn out along each side of the belt, while preventing an inrush of air from the infeed and exit of the dryer that would otherwise disturb lighter materials. The volume of air entering the chamber is also adjustable, allowing the operator to fine-tune the air flow. Vastex manufactures wide range of conveyor dryers for DTG, DTF and screen printing applications, as well as DTF powder applicators, screen printing presses, athletic numbering systems, flash cure units, screen exposing units, screen drying cabinets, screen prepress equipment and washout booths, and offers a comprehensive range of training classes for entry level, intermediate and advanced screen printers.
