Wasatch SoftRIP Achieves 125+ LPI Separations with Epson SC-T3700, SC-T5700, and SC-T7700 series printers.
Salt Lake City, UT – Wasatch SoftRIP now produces high-quality separation films at up to 125 lpi and beyond on the Epson SC-T3700, SC-T5700, and SC-T7700 series printers. This breakthrough, made possible through collaboration with Epson, surpasses the previous 75 lpi limit and enhances screen and flexo printing capabilities.
Advanced Separation Film Production
These Epson models support AM, FM, and Hybrid halftones, making them ideal for professional separation film production. To simplify workflow, Wasatch has released Imaging Configurations via the Wasatch Cloud, providing optimized starting points at 55, 65, 85, 105, and 125 lpi. These configurations are available to all Wasatch base subscribers, while users of the Wasatch SP Option can further customize their output with Precision Rosette Screens and additional lpi settings.
Proven Performance & Industry-Leading Density
In testing at Wasatch’s offices, using Epson original ink, the system achieved a UV density of 3.7, as measured with a transmission densitometer—ensuring superior film quality for high-precision printing applications.
With this latest advancement, Wasatch SoftRIP continues to set new standards in digital halftone separation technology, delivering the precision and flexibility printers need to stay ahead in the industry.
