RIGA | Latvia – November 2024 – Today, Printful and Printify, two of the most prominent technology platforms in the print-on-demand industry, have announced a merger that promises accelerated growth and expanded opportunities for millions of eCommerce entrepreneurs worldwide. By joining forces, the companies aim to enhance their service offerings while positioning Riga as a dynamic innovation center and an attractive destination for tech investment.

The merger, backed by regulatory approvals and shareholder support, brings together Printful’s in-house production capabilities and Printify’s extensive network of over 85 third-party production partners. Both companies will continue to operate as separate brands, allowing each to retain its identity while combining strengths to deliver a broader selection of products, expanded geographic reach, and improved fulfillment options for customers.

Alex Saltonstall, CEO of Printful, remarked on the natural synergy between the two companies, stating, “This is an exciting moment for everyone. We have long respected Printify, and our discussions revealed shared values and complementary strengths. Together, we can empower our customers with even greater resources to help them achieve their business goals.”

Currently, Printful and Printify serve hundreds of thousands of clients globally—from independent entrepreneurs to major entertainment brands looking to reach audiences with custom merchandise. The merged entity will provide enhanced value for e-commerce sellers by offering an array of products and a commitment to sustainable production, reducing overproduction and supporting a greener planet.

Anastasija Oļeiņika, CEO of Printify, added, “Our combined company will provide our merchants with more: more products, more places to sell, and more growth opportunities. The merger reinforces Latvia’s standing as a growing tech hub, attracting top talent from across Europe and beyond, and helps cement Riga’s role in the global technology landscape.”

Together, the companies are projected to bring in significant revenue, with Printful expecting $2.26 billion this year and Printify reporting annual earnings of approximately $103 million. The combined business will become one of Latvia’s most prominent tech companies, contributing substantially to the economy and driving innovation in the region.

Lauris Liberts, co-founder and Chairman of Printful, expressed enthusiasm for this milestone, saying, “This merger marks the next step in Printful’s journey and strengthens Latvia’s role in the thriving technology sector. By uniting with Printify, we’re set to unlock new growth potential that will benefit our customers, our teams, and our community.”

Jānis Berdigans, Founder and Executive Chairman of Printify,** echoed this sentiment: “We’ve always aimed to drive Printify toward its full potential, and merging with Printful is the perfect way to achieve that. Together, we are in an even stronger position to serve our customers and expand into new markets.”
