Digital Serigraphic Technologies appoints Quentin Le Piouff as its new MD.

COPENHAGEN | Denmark – March 2024 – Digital Serigraphic Technologies A/S (DST), a leading manufacturer of consumables for textile heat transfers, proudly announces the appointment of Quentin Le Piouff as its new Managing Director as of January 1st, 2024. With over 15 years of experience in polymers and printing solutions, Quentin is set to lead DST towards a transformative future.

Expertise and Expectations for the New Role

In his previous role as Business Development & Application Technology Manager, Quentin Le Piouff played a pivotal role in DST’s growth, spearheading the development of innovative printing media tailored for hot peel transfers and selecting cutting edge performance inks developed over the past decade. His leadership in business development strategy to meet market demands and collaboration with key partners in digital printing has been instrumental in DST’s success.

With a wealth of expertise in the adhesive and textile industry, he continuously demonstrated an unwavering commitment to pioneering decorating techniques such as hybrid/DST or DTF and pushing the boundaries of product innovation. Svend Rimestad, Chairman of DST, and Managing Director in DST’s mother company Bjørn Thorsen A/S, expressed his confidence in Quentin’s leadership, saying, “With his impressive experience in the printing and polymers industry, Quentin will be a standout leader, and I have great confidence in our exceptional team.”

The “Reuse is Good Use” project: Sustainability through Collaboration

This year, DST together with its mother company Bjørn Thorsen A/S and in collaboration with other partners will contribute to the project “Reuse is Good Use”, which aims to develop methods for removing existing transfer prints from certain types of textiles and create a new type of removable transfer print that is easier to replace in the future.
