It uses automatic blank-area skipping to cut unnecessary travel across unused substrate areas and simplify demanding production workflows.

The K2-1000 3 Row supports up to 16 Kyocera printheads across three rows, a maximum resolution of 600 × 1800 dpi, and high-speed bidirectional printing. Manufacturer-rated productivity reaches up to 2,159 square feet per hour in 4-pass mode. Actual output varies by print mode, artwork, media, and workflow.

Built for Production

The platform accepts rigid media up to 5′ × 10′ and up to 4 inches thick, including aluminum composite, acrylic, foam board, PVC, wood veneer, and other rigid substrates. Automatic media positioning and four-zone blowing and suction controls support faster, consistent substrate setup.

Industrial PLC controls support continuous-production environments, with workflow functions for multiple-order processing, loop printing, and front/back registration. Collision detection, breakpoint resume, light curtains, and antistatic bars help protect production.

Connected Workflow

Remote diagnostics, real-time ink monitoring, and interfaces for optional external automation support connected production workflows. The system uses VOC-free UV-curable ink in CMYK + White configurations, adjustable-power LED curing, and high-speed PCIe data transmission supporting PDF, JPEG, TIFF, EPS, and AI files. Ink options, workflow functions, and external automation depend on final configuration.

“The K2-1000 3 Row is about more than simply increasing print speed. We wanted a production platform that eliminates wasted movement, simplifies setup, and gives operators tools that make high-volume work easier to manage. The combination of three-row Kyocera technology, X/Y linear motion, and intelligent automation gives print providers a platform they can build their production around,” said Joseph Sciberras, General Manager, CET Color.

www.cetcolor.com

Nouvelles de l'imagerie mondiale Latino

CET Color Launches New 5′ × 10′ Kyocera Platform Combines Three-Row Print Architecture, Blank-Area Skipping, and Production Automation ATLANTA | Georgia – October 2026 – CET Color has introduced the…

[229
1596,1597
post-267924","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uv-printers","tag-cet-color","tag-cet-k2-1000
["GET
