BARCELONA | Spain – June 2026 – <\/strong>\u00a0Summa launched the F Series Vantage at FESPA Barcelona, marking the next evolution in flatbed cutting from the Belgian finishing specialist. Designed to address mounting pressure on margins and profitability driven by rising material costs, labor constraints, and costly errors, the F Series Vantage was built to accelerate every stage of the finishing workflow. Its combination of enhanced cutting speeds, intelligent automation, and open modular architecture delivered what Summa described as the ultimate operator-friendly experience \u2014 one that integrated seamlessly into existing production environments without lock-ins or closed systems.<\/p>\n

Promising 40% productivity gains, the F Series Vantage arrived with automation designed to anticipate errors before they occurred, an open ecosystem, and what Summa called the widest tool library it had ever created. The new High Frequency 3.7kW router, Fast+ and Core+ tangential modules, and Rigid Material and High Precision Cutout tools gave sign and display businesses the material versatility to grow beyond their core activity into new substrates including aluminum.<\/p>\n

Speed improvements extended well beyond tooling. New motion control, unique blade recognition, and a new media thickness sensor accelerated every stage from setup to execution, delivering cleaner edges, fewer tool swaps, and a smoother overall workflow. One-click Action Sets and a new LED feedback strip added precision without interruption, while the machine’s safety ecosystem was engineered to be non-negotiable and impossible to bypass \u2014 minimizing downtime and protecting operators from contact with moving machinery.<\/p>\n

“We worked closely with customers and partners to understand their biggest challenges, which came down to preserving margins amidst rising costs, seizing new business opportunities and keeping safety a non-negotiable in the workshop,” said Geert Pierloot<\/strong>, Managing Director at Summa. “That’s why we designed the F Series Vantage with the goal of keeping your operation moving and empowering operators. It’s the easiest to install flatbed we have ever made and it’s more intuitive to use than ever.
