Designed to accommodate height variations while decorating cylindrical and conical products, the Helix\u00ae High Throw is ideal for challenging and irregular shapes including stepped and tapered vessels, products with posts for attaching handles, and items as varied as footballs, rugby balls, pet bowls, and planters. The printer handles diameter ranges from 2.55 inches (65mm) to 7.1 inches (180mm) and height variations up to 15mm, delivering seamless, full-color, 360\u00b0 graphics from a single workstation.<\/p>\n

Key features include advanced product scanning for precise placement on contours, an automatic programmable tilt and height adjustment system for conical printing, and two ink configurations. The six-color setup (WW+CK+MY+LcLm+VV) adds light cyan and light magenta for smoother gradients, accurate skin tones, and photo-realistic imagery. Spot varnish capability enables special effects and enhanced tactile finishes.<\/p>\n

“Until now, there were always some products that traditional cylindrical inkjet printers just couldn’t accommodate,” said Derek LaChance,<\/strong> Digital Product Manager at Inkcups. “The launch of the Helix\u00ae High Throw completely changes that, expanding the capabilities of the Helix\u00ae range far beyond drinkware.”<\/p>\n
