This marks a significant step forward in the company&#8217;s growth in North America. The new facility will enhance swissQprint\u2019s ability to serve its customers and showcase its cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-9\" data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"643\"><strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"579\">Kilian Hintermann<\/strong>, CEO of swissQprint, shared his enthusiasm about the project: \u201cWe continue to see North America as a growth market. This new facility for our US subsidiary is a testament to our commitment to serving our North American customers even better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-10\" data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"996\">swissQprint America is currently headquartered in Elgin, IL, providing sales and after-sales services, with an additional demo center located in Irvine, California.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"ai-optimize-11\" data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1282\"><strong data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1034\">Easy Access and Enhanced Service<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-11\" data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1282\">The new facility will be situated on 3 acres within West Dundee, Illinois, strategically located approximately 10 minutes closer to Chicago O\u2019Hare Airport than the current premises. <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1234\">Erik Norman<\/strong>, President of swissQprint America, explained: \u201cThe heart of the new facility is the expanded showroom to feature our large format printers and applications, along with increased capacity for our applications and service teams. All of this designed so that we can deliver exceptional support and experiences for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"ai-optimize-12\" data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"2065\"><strong data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1622\">Facility Features with Sustainability Commitments<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-12\" data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"2065\"><br data-start=\"1622\" data-end=\"1625\" \/>The new building will span <strong data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1666\">24,780 ft\u00b2<\/strong>. Key features include a <strong data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1704\">4,757 ft\u00b2<\/strong> showroom and hospitality area, a dedicated training center for individual or group applications training, and <strong data-start=\"1815\" data-end=\"1828\">2,192 ft\u00b2<\/strong> dedicated to machine refurbishing and service. The building will also have significantly expanded warehouse and office space compared to the existing Elgin premises \u2014 overall, the US team looks forward to a <strong data-start=\"2036\" data-end=\"2053\">130% increase<\/strong> in space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-13\" data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2421\">Reflecting swissQprint\u2019s commitment to environmental responsibility, approximately <strong data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2170\">400 solar panels<\/strong> are planned to be installed to supply power from renewable resources. Heitman Architects Inc. designed the building, and construction will be done by The DSI Group, both of Chicago, IL. swissQprint was represented by Bespoke Commercial Real Estate.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"ai-optimize-14\" data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2828\"><strong data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2447\">Timeline and Outlook<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-14\" data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2828\"><br data-start=\"2447\" data-end=\"2450\" \/>The ground-breaking ceremony for the new building took place on <strong data-start=\"2514\" data-end=\"2530\">July 9, 2025<\/strong>, and the facility is scheduled to be completed by mid-2026. The site provides an option to expand an additional <strong data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2657\">15,000 ft\u00b2<\/strong> to accommodate future growth.
