The transaction was signed on 1 September 2024 and has been approved by all the relevant regulators globally.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"the-post s-post-modern\">\n<article id=\"post-35332\" class=\"post-35332 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail category-packaging-labeling-and-converting tag-acquisition tag-dr-alexander-unterschuetz tag-macdermid-graphic-solutions tag-mgs tag-xsys\">\n<div class=\"post-content-wrap has-share-float\">\n<div class=\"post-content cf entry-content content-spacious\">\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to announce the completion of this transformative combination and to join forces with our new MGS colleagues,\u201d said <strong>Dr. Alexander Unterschuetz<\/strong>, Group CEO of XSYS. \u201cThis transaction creates significant value and opportunities as a result of the complementarity of both businesses\u2019 product portfolio, services, and employees, thus making us a more complete solution provider for our customers.\u201d He further commented, \u201cThis, together with the strengthened knowledge and resources of our dedicated technical support teams, will enable us to deliver even better products and services to our customers, who are at the centre of everything we do\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The combined business will have a workforce of approximately 850 employees worldwide and turnover of approximately \u20ac370 million.<\/p>\n<p>Headquartered in Willstaett, Germany, XSYS operates globally offering both flexographic and letterpress prepress solutions, including plates, sleeves, processors, workflow solutions, and expert professional services.<\/p>\n<p>The broad XSYS portfolio comprises some of the industry\u2019s best-known brands of consumables (nyloflex and nyloprint plates), plate processing equipment (ThermoFlexX, Catena and Xpress), surface screening software (Woodpecker), plate mounting (rotec), and washout solvents (nylosolv).
