Burmeister, a print industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, replaces <strong>Amado Lara<\/strong>, who will remain with\u00a0Roland\u00a0DGA to serve in the newly created role of Vice President of Latin American Sales and Business Development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Burmeister has held senior sales, marketing, and operations executive positions with several well-known companies within the commercial and wide-format print sectors, including Canon, Eastman Kodak,\u00a0Oc\u00e9, Encad, and Xerox. Before joining\u00a0Roland\u00a0DGA, he served for seven years as Canon USA\u2019s Senior Director of Sales &#8211; West Region. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Western Sales\/Channel Segment Leader for Eastman Kodak\u2019s commercial B2B division, where he was responsible for growing the company\u2019s business of plates, consumables, inkjet, workflow, newspaper, packaging, and digital print. While with Encad, Burmeister was based in the Netherlands, where he served as the company\u2019s Executive Director for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDan brings with him a wealth of print industry experience as well as the team-leading abilities needed to build upon\u00a0Roland\u00a0DGA\u2019s incredible success as the North and South American marketing, sales, distribution, and service arm of our parent company,\u00a0Roland\u00a0DG Corporation,\u201d said\u00a0Roland\u00a0DGA\u2019s CEO <strong>Andrew Oransky<\/strong>. \u201cHe joins\u00a0Roland\u00a0DGA at a key point in the growth of our company\u2019s sign and graphics business as well as its expansion into new and exciting markets.
