Matic was founded in 1969 in Barcelona, Spain, initially focusing on machinery for the garment sector before expanding into new markets, including solar protection, roller shades, digital printing, and curtains. Driven by customer needs, Matic began innovating with cutting-edge machines for cutting, welding, sewing, and handling industrial textiles, staying true to their initial focus on advanced technology and ease of use.<\/p>\n

The Partnership<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Matic is a business committed to social and environmental goals as well as economic, so when the team discovered Kavalan\u2019s PVC-free materials, it seemed like a perfect match. \u201cWe were immediately impressed by their commitment to creating high-quality sustainable products and promoting the reduction of resource consumption and environmental impact,\u201d says Pascal Goiran<\/strong>, Area Manager, Matic.<\/p>\n

Kavalan approached Matic to suggest they trial and evaluate Kavalan\u2019s new industrial textiles, as well as some of the wide-format digital printing materials, a challenge that Matic gladly accepted. \u201cThe three textiles worked very well with Matic machines during our tests,\u201d continues Pascal. \u201cWe used the Matic Perseo 4000 Impulse welding machine to weld Kavalan\u2019s Sunlight Weldable and industrial fabric. Additionally, we used the Cronos 4.0 sewing machine to sew Kavalan\u2019s SEG material, Moonlight River.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Result<\/strong><\/h6>\n

\u201cI am delighted to say the results were flawless,\u201d says Pascal. \u201cWhat impressed me the most was that Kavalan’s innovative textiles welded perfectly with our Perseo 4000 Impulse welding machine in just three seconds, compared to the seven seconds typically required for traditional PVC materials. This is truly remarkable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pascal concludes: \u201cWe are proud to partner with Kavalan. I believe their innovative approach aligns closely with Matic’s vision.
