Printing United 2024 in Las Vegas was a huge success, bringing together nearly 30,000 industry professionals from around the world. Now that the excitement has died down, it’s time to take a closer look at some of the innovative new products that were unveiled at the show.<\/p>\n

In this edition, we’ll kick things off with a spotlight on the latest DTF (Direct-to-Film) technology, starting with the announcement of a “real” DTF unit from Epson. Stay tuned for more coverage of wide-format printing and other exciting new developments from Printing United 2024.<\/p>\n

Sneak Peak Epson DTF<\/strong><\/p>\n

Epson created a buzz at Printing United with a sneak peek of their new DTF roll-to-roll printer based on the F9470. This five-color printer uses Epson’s proprietary pigment ink for DTF imaging and was showcased with a Powder\/Shaker\/Dryer from Equipment Zone.<\/p>\n

Epson plans to focus on providing the printer, ink and film, relying on their distribution network for the rest of the DTF setup. Look for an official announcement and product launch around the time of the Impressions Technology show in January 2025.<\/p>\n

Mystery Japanese DTF Showcase<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another Japanese company made a splash at Printing United with a new, yet-to-be-announced DTF printer. While we\u2019ve been asked to keep the company’s name confidential, the positive response at the show suggests we can expect a product launch sometime between March and April of 2025.<\/p>\n

Brother GTX R2R DTF Printer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brother’s GTX R2R DTF Printer made its debut at Printing United, showcasing its capabilities as a versatile and efficient solution for direct-to-film printing. Featuring a user-friendly interface and a wide range of compatible materials, the GTX R2R DTF Printer is ideal for a variety of applications, including garment decoration, home decor, and promotional items.<\/p>\n
