The company will consolidate its multiple sales groups into two unified divisions under a single marketing organization. Additionally, Canon Solutions America will merge into Canon U.S.A. effective January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:54\">This strategic move is part of Canon\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and profitability in an increasingly competitive market. While the company reported a strong global performance in the first half of the year, Canon Americas has faced challenges in recent years. By streamlining operations and reducing expenses, Canon aims to improve its financial performance and better serve its customers.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:397\">\u201cOur reorganizational efforts are designed to streamline operations and promote increased efficiency to achieve the necessary performance levels to meet our targets and remain competitive in a fast-changing industry,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Sammy Kobayashi<\/strong>, president and CEO of Canon U.S.A. \u201cThese plans were not made lightly, but they will support the company\u2019s ability to meet the needs of our current and future clients and customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:271\">Canon Solutions America, established in 2013, has been a key contributor to the company\u2019s offerings in industry enterprise, production, and large format printing solutions.
